DJ KICKS 25TH ANNIVERSARY

London
Date -
Release 2020

“Time moves in one direction, memory another. We are
that strange species that constructs artefacts
intended to counter the natural flow of forgetting.”
- William Gibson

This quote formed part of a brief from DJ Kicks when they asked us to develop a logo and art direct the 25th anniversary celebration of DJ Kicks.

The anniversary is a token moment of time and memory and an opportunity to create timeless and memorable visuals. We fused 1995 8-bit styling with contemporary motion executions and an acid colour palette which was used across platforms.

Project in collaboration with Sam Travis.

More to come as and when released.
