A contemporary twist to Londons historical Arts centre.
We were appointed by Somerset House to create two of their largest annual event campaigns - The Film 4 Summer Screen and ‘Londons most beautiful ice rink’ SKATE at Somerset House.
Our approach
We fused Neo-classical aesthetics with state of the art technology by fully recreating a 3d render of the building. By doing so we had the ability to modify the scenery to extremes and achieve a sense of hyper reality around the building for both campaigns, spreading the Somerset House magic throughout the seasons.

Film 4 Summer Screen
The ultimate cinematic experience under the starry sky when the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court transforms into a beautiful open-air cinema. We captured this moment with an illuminated Somerset House, an ambient sunset and animated plumes of popcorn.
SKATE at Somerset House
Celebrating 20 years of ice skating at Somerset House.
London’s most beautiful ice rink transforms the square into a winter oasis, ushering in the festive season with a 40ft Christmas tree. We created a magical festive wintery scene with evergreen trees, snow and penguins interacting with the icy typography.
We worked on all stages of the campaigns from developing a creative Identity to rolling out 300+ digital and print assets. The campaigns performed remarkably well, selling more tickets than previous years whilst Film 4 Summer screen sold out completely in record time.
